For the last 30 years Bryan Small led The Hangmen through more shit than you can imagine – from big money major label record deals to debilitating drug addiction and well... too many other demons to mention. Through it all, Small’s commitment to musical honesty and integrity never waned. Born in Montana, raised in Boise, ID, Small, moved to Los Angeles in 1986 and formed The Hangmen who immediately caught the eye of Black Flag/Circle Jerks singer, Keith Morris who produced demos and managed the band. They signed a deal with Capitol Records and released their self-titled debut (produced by Vic Maile, Motorhead), but things soon came crashing down. A switch to DGC Records (the newly formed subsidiary of Geffen who’s roster included The Nymphs, Nirvana, etc) it seemed like the perfect landing spot for the band. Unfortunately the Rob Younger (Radio Birdman) produced album Suicide Doors was never released and the band dissolved into addiction. Christopher Cross burst onto the music scene with his 1980 self-titled debut album, winning five Grammy Awards, including—for the first time in Grammy history—the “Big Four” most prestigious awards: Record of the Year (for the single “Sailing”), Album of the Year, Song of the Year (also “Sailing”), and Best New Artist.   In a career spanning more than four decades, Cross has sold over 10 million albums. His music has garnered five Grammys, an Oscar, a Golden Globe, an Emmy nomination and five Top 10 singles. Within a year of the first album’s release, Cross joined music royalty Burt Bacharach to write “Arthur’s Theme,” for the movie Arthur, which won an Academy Award for Best Song. With his 1983 release, Another Page, Cross was again in the Top 10 with the singles “All Right” and “Think of Laura.” His song, “Swept Away,” composed for the hit television series, Growing Pains, was nominated for an Emmy.  Cross started his own label and, since 2007, has released 8 albums of new material, including A Christopher Cross Christmas and The Café Carlyle Sessions, jazz treatments of hits and favorites born out of a residency at the famous Hotel[...]

The very last Blues est le deuxième opus du groupe. From New-Yorik to New Orleans thru Normandy this band was born in 2014 due to the meeting of the Réchard brothers ans Robin Nicaise. Their first album called The Last Blues is a mix between blues, funk, New Orleans Band and other dreamlike inspirations. Their music is an accesible actual and joyful jazz. Experienced musicians, companions on many projects, the five friends distill their music live with obvious pleasure. New disc: The very last blues released in May 2019.
